About the Author
Dr. Kent Voigt is an educator, minister, hospital chaplain and former broadcaster. He holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
He began developing challenge handling skills during twelve years in the fast paced competitive world of commercial broadcasting. He enhanced them by counseling hundreds of students, parents and others during more than thirty years in the field of education. Upon retiring from academics, Kent turned to ministry and hospital chaplaincy. He trained in both areas and now counsels people facing a variety of life challenges in hospital and out. Author of a number of specialized books and articles, Kent agreed to write Manage Your Life: Active Responses to Challenges in response to requests from the people he serves. Happily married for nearly fifty years, he and wife Terrie delight in spending time with their children and grandchildren, community service, the arts, and travel. They have journeyed throughout North America and more than sixty nations on six of the world's seven continents -Antarctica awaits. |
